Integration of external Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder with Parallels Plesk Panel 9.0.1 causes error "Auth header is missed"
Resolution:
By default Parallels Plesk Panel uses local Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder. The configuration is set in Plesk database.
However you may register external Sitebuilder URL in Parallels Plesk Panel with Plesk utility /usr/local/psa/bin/sitebuilder (/opt/psa/bin/sitebuilder for Debian and Ubuntu).
Refer to this article for details: http://kb.parallels.com/en/5987.
Parallels Plesk Panel version 9.0.1 works with local Sitebuilder only.
You may get the following error when set external Sitebuilder URL and try to re-register Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder in Parallels Plesk Panel (Home -> Settings -> Sitebuilder Settings):
Error: Unable to retrieve the information from the Sitebuilder system:
Auth header is missed.
It is not recommended to register external Sitebuilder URL in Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder version 9.0.1.
The integration will be available in future update of Parallels Plesk Panel 9.
To reset settings to local connections you need to remove old registration records and register local Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder anew.
Use the following command to remove old registration:
~# mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` psa -e"delete from SBConfig"
To register local Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder server you need to login to Parallels Plesk Panel as admin and change page Sitebuilder Settings at Home -> Sitebuilder Settings
If not registered then local Sitebuilder server URL is put to field "Sitebuilder server URL. Ensure that this address resolves properly in DNS". You need to fill in login credentials of Sitebuilder admin and click button "OK" to complete registration.
